For a group of adults friends and family to find the perfect vacation in the perfect location with the most knowledgeable gracious helpful friendly accommodating host -- well this is impossible yes Actually no -- not if you are lucky enough to experience Casa Scimone in Taormina with the owner The rooms are wonderful the kitchens fully appointed with what's necessary for cooking full meals or just the casual in-home diner The meals prepared for us by Micaela and her staff were outstanding and the recommendations for restaurants and Sicilian excursions were uniformly excellent Seeing Etna the Ionian Sea and the boats and tour ships in and out of the area made for wonderful viewing The outdoor space is so amazing that you can miss some of the interesting and beautiful features inside the house but stop to admire the artwork on the walls and the small details that make ...

Dear Massimiliano Thank you for your email We had a fabulous time in Praiano - it was so lovely to go back to Rosa dei Venti Like last time the property was spotlessly clean and well equipped and the view from the cottage was just wonderful We enjoyed watching the sun go down over Capri from the terrace and the little garden which was full of flowers and beautifully kept Carolina is a very generous host She is always on hand to help if needed and left a bowl of beautiful tomatoes and fresh basil from her garden I would recommend some new pillows for the bedroom for the next season but aside from that it is a really fabulous place to stay and we would love to return someday Rosa dei Venti is ideally placed for walking with the path up to the Convento San Domenico and Sentiero degli ...
