The villa was just beautiful, spacious and very clean. It is a large and spacious home that is very comfortable and the addition of the pool was an added benefit.

The gardens and surrounding hillside vistas were beyond description and even though we took photos they do not reflect the beauty of the Tuscany countryside. The villa is located in a perfect place for day trips to Lucca, Florence, Pisa, San Gimignano and Greve.

I do not have enough kind words for Elisa, our chef. She is a beautiful and kind person who has extraordinary skills as an outstanding chef. Our meals reflected the Tuscan area and each meal was prepared with great attention to taste, beauty and local ingredients. We had the opportunity to cook with Elisa as well and the cooking class was really enjoyed by everyone.

I would have no hesitation in highly recommending Villa Belvedere to family and friends.

Hi Alessandra, thank you so much for your email. We absolutely loved Belvedere and had a wonderful time there. It’s just an incredible location and we appreciated being so close to Castellina in Chianti, a very charming town. We loved the rural setting of the house and the pool was regularly cleaned, which was a nice touch. The house was very spacious, and there was always plenty for the kids to do in terms of exploring and places to play as well as swimming. We enjoyed eating on the outdoor porch with the swallows flying in and out to their nests in the ceiling.


iT was just a lovely house and a wonderful day and we appreciated the hospitality of the staff. I highly recommended to others, looking for a peaceful vacation spot, especially for families.

We absolutely loved Villa Belvedere; it exceeded our expectations.
Eleven of us spent a week in early May to celebrate a family birthday.
It was an easy drive from Pisa airport and we stopped in Poggibonsi on the way to buy groceries from the Pam and the Lidl (excellent value). You can also stock up on wine at Liliano where you collect the keys.
The house is classically Tuscan, situated on a hilltop with beautiful surrounding farmland and countryside with great views. There is plenty of parking. The house itself has beautiful dimensions with large spacious rooms and the bedrooms in particular are generous with en suite bathrooms and often an anteroom. The dining room is central and perfect for evening dining. The kitchen is relatively small but has two gas hobs and a dishwasher and there is plenty of beautiful crockery. We made a request to the staff for a grater and a liquidiser and these were provided instantly. The support staff were brilliant; friendly, helpful and immediately responsive to all requests, including sorting out the gas supply on a public bank holiday. The daily cleaners were likewise charming and the house immaculate.

We were blessed with good weather and had lovely evenings to enjoy aperitifs and the pool by day. There is also a covered loggia which is great for socialising and a ping pong table which was fun.

We were recommended a cooking/catering service for the special Birthday and it was an absolute highlight of the week. We were given a choice of menus beforehand and the cook and her helper arrived four hours earlier and cooked a four course meal from scratch including preparing the table etc. It was quintessentially Tuscan and absolutely delicious and meant we could relax and enjoy the evening.

The location is perfect with easy day trips to Castellina, San Gimignano, Sienna and Monterrigioni along with local walks and wine tasting.

All in all, this villa is excellent value for money and together with the support agency comes highly recommended.

Loved the Belvedere vineyards nearby, Castellina in Chianti just 10 minutes away, and the house and pool were beyond our expectations.
